Asst. Prof. Chol Bunnag
Director, Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) – Thailand
Biography:
Chol Bunnag graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics (Second-Class Honors) in Agricultural Economics and natural resource and environmental economics from Thammasat University. He has a master’s degree in Economics from the University of East Anglia, UK. After becoming a professor on Natural Resources and Environment Economics and agricultural economics and rural development, he also conducted research on water management and policy processes to drive the Sustainable Development Goals.
Currently, he is the Director of SDG Move or the Centre for SDG Research and Support, Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University. He is responsible for coordinating research directions and funding researches related to the practical implementation of the SDGs, and monitoring relevant international academic progress. He is also a co-manager of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network Thailand (SDSN Thailand).
He serves as a speaker to educate various sectors about SDGs such as government agencies and jointly drives the Sustainable Development Goals with various sectors in Thailand.
