Mr. Pyae Sone Aung

International Development Studies, Chulalongkorn University

Biography:

Pyae Sone Aung @ Nicholas is a Senior administrative officer with eight years of professional experience in the international non-government field.

He works closely with government officials, NGOs, logisticians, financial experts, and so on. He is so efficient at his job and has the ability to lead training and public outreach programs in democratization, coordinate capacity building, manages project administration (Planning and implementation), handle financial analysis, manage day-to-day needs of the subsidiary offices and communicate effectively with all the stakeholders.

He is studying Master of Arts in International Development Studies (MAIDS) from Chulalongkorn University and graduated from Dagon University Myanmar with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Aside from his particular job responsibilities, he engaged in volunteering activities such as community workshops and training on the democratization and development sector in Myanmar.

Living in a politically unstable country, his long-term goal is to bring his country back onto its democracy track and hold systematic fair elections, and work for country development.
