Chula Student ID Card
Chulalongkorn University, in cooperation with Kasikorn Bank (KBank), will issue student cards to every new student in their first semester. The following are the benefits and privileges of the student card:
- Identifying oneself as a student of the Chulalongkorn University to gain access to libraries, borrowing library books and other facilities such as the CU Health Service Center and CU Sports Complex.
- The student card will also serve as a debit card from KBank. No application or annual fee is charged throughout the period of study at Chulalongkorn University.
- Other privileges as announced by KBank.
Remark: Students can request to issue a Non-Debit student ID card at the Office of the Registrar located in the Chamchuri 6 Building.


How to Open a Bank Account
For international students, please open a bank account and apply for the student ID debit card only after you have arrived in Thailand and have established a residential address for your studies. The student ID card is linked to a Kasikorn Bank account (Kbank), and you will need an original passport with Non-Immigrant VISA(ED), Certificate of Admission, a Thai residential address and a Thai mobile phone number to open a bank account and apply for a new student ID debit card.
