Invitation to China-ASEAN Competition for Chula Students
Chula students are invited to participate in the China-ASEAN New Smart City Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, a startup pitching competition, hosted by the government of Nanning alongside Cloudbae and Alibaba, as well as Chulalongkorn School of Integrated Innovation.
The winner of this competition will receive prize money from a total prize pool of around THB 785,000. Most importantly, the startup will be incubated under Cloudbae, a subsidiary of Alibaba group, connecting the startup to expansive networks within China and potential scalability into the Chinese market.
To give an example, a past winner ‘Buzz AR’ was successfully connected to Alibaba’s retail ecosystem. Similarly, the first runner-up, NeuXP was given a chance to collaborate with T-Mall on the 618 Shopping Festival in 2021.
