Global Chief Innovation Officer, Assoc. Prof. Natcha Thawesaengskulthai, Ph.D., Presiding over the Opening Ceremony of “Chula Global Innovation Club” and “Chimnovate Hackathon 2022”
On August 22, 2022, Assoc. Prof. Natcha Thawesaengskulthai, Ph.D., Global Chief Innovation Officer, presided over the Opening Ceremony of “Chula Global Innovation Club” and “Chimnovate Hackathon 2022” via Zoom and Facebook Live.
The event aimed to introduce the Chula Global Innovation Club (CGIC) and to share the goals that CGIC seek to achieve, such as scaling up the start-up to global arena, building the investor and mentor network, especially, the goal of recruiting 50 global mentors and encouraging investment in Chula spin-offs at a minimum of 10 million USD. In addition, CGIC shared their plan which they seek to collaborate and gain support from the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington DC, Royal Thai Embassies in Nordic countries, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), Board of Investment (BOI), including alliance networks in the form of event and activity organization services which could contribute to achieving the targeted objectives.
On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Natcha introduced “the Chimnovate Hackathon 2022”, which was initiated to help expand Thailand’s potential startup community to worldwide network and revitalize Thailand’s gastrodiplomacy through building & scaling virtual restaurants in the US.
