[Invitation] 24th D.M. Harish Memorial Government Law College International Online Moot Court Competition, 2023

The 24th edition of the D. M. Harish Memorial Government Law College International Online Moot Court Competition (DMH), hosted by Government Law College, Mumbai, India, in association with the D. M. Harish Foundation. The competition is scheduled to be conducted on an online platform on 11th and 12th February, 2023. 

The Moot Court Association of the Government Law College is pleased to invite a team from Chula to participate in this venerated Moot Court Competition.

DMH is India’s first international Moot Court Competition. It started in the year 2000 as a National Moot Court Competition and has been open to international entrants since the past fifteen years. It has seen the keen participation of a number of teams from across all continents.

The moot problem of the Competition deals primarily with issues relating to International Law, highlighting the emerging legal landscape and has been drafted by experts in the field. The participants are made to go through extensive Mooting Rounds which will be judged by eminent lawyers and Judges of the highest standing in India, to ensure that only the two best Teams reach the Final Round of Arguments. All participants are also to present their Written Submissions a month prior to the Competition. 

Please find enclosed the Moot Compromis, Rules and Registration Schedule for the 24th D.M. Harish Memorial Government Law College International Online Moot Court Competition, 2023. Please note that the Moot Compromis will explore a range of contemporary issues in international law, including the impact of cultural genocide, international aviation, nationality and citizenship, enforcement of arbitral awards, etc.

Registrations for 24th D.M. Harish Memorial Government Law College International Online Moot Court Competition, 2023 is now open.

All interested institutions must provisionally register themselves by sending an email to dmh.glc@gmail.com. Only after the provisional registration has been confirmed will a link to a Google Form and details for the payment of registration fees will be provided.

Please note that the teams must fill in the Registration Form and make payment via NEFT/Wire Transfer before 31st October, 2022, latest. The teams will be required to upload the screenshot/proof of the same while filling the google form for registration.
