[Invitation] ITEC Training Course
National Institute of Wind Energy formerly Centre for Wind Energy Technology shortly known as NIWE is an autonomous R&D institution established in 1998 at Chennai by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India. It is a premier institution with highly experienced professionals having expertise in all related disciplines of wind energy sector. NIWE has so far successfully conducted 42 International Training courses and 51 National training courses since from 2004 and trained about 3000 professionals from 100 countries.
NIWE Chennai, India with the support of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India is in the process of conducting 2 ITEC training course for international participants, the training details are as follows:
- 26th International Training Course on “Wind Turbine Technology and Its Application”
01st – 24thFebruary 2023 - 05th Special International Training Course on “Wind Resource Assessment and Wind Farm Planning”
01st – 24th March 2023
The course will provide a complete overview about wind energy technology starting from what is wind to its various technology available, wind resource assessment, the layout of wind farms, installation & commissioning, O&M of wind farms including financial benefit.
This course is completely free and Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India under ITEC programme, funds the entire cost of the training course.
