Chula Representative at Cornell Global Hubs
From November 16th – 18th, 2022, Assoc. Prof. Natcha Thawesaengskulthai, Ph.D., Global Chief Innovation Officer of Chulalongkorn University, attended Global Grand Challenges Symposium: Frontiers and the Future, hosted by Cornell Global Hubs at Cornell University.
As Chula is the only Thailand’s institution of higher education that is a member of this organization, Assoc. Prof. Natcha, representing Chula, had the chance to deliver a talk in Panel 5: “International Collaboration: Taking Action for Our Global Future” on November 17th, 2022, at room 700, Clark Hall on the Cornell campus. During the talk, the concept of “Chula Innovations for Society”, Chula’s mission to play a leading role in “Creating Knowledge and Innovation to Promote Sustainable Development for Society”, was also introduced to all participants.
The Global Grand Challenges Symposium brings together the Cornell community and international partners to enable them to discuss the most urgent challenges around the world and how they can work together to address these challenges. This Symposium and Cornell Global Hubs provide Chula with the opportunity to build a strong, long-term international relationships among faculty, staff, and students from leading universities to create truly collaborative and mutually beneficial partnerships, meaningful results, and sustainable change.
