Meeting with the Representative of Macquarie University, Australia
On November 22nd, 2022, the representatives of the Office of International Affairs and Global Network − Ms. Sukalin Wanakasemsan, Director of the Division of Global Academic Affairs, and Ms. Noppamon Chiemsuk, Head of the Unit of Degree, Division of Global Academic Affairs, met with the representative of Macquarie University − Mr. Joshua Santos, New Colombo Plan Alumni Ambassador, and Student Mobility Project Assistant, Macquarie University Student Mobility, Global Engagement and Reputation, at the Meeting Room, 18th floor, Chamchuri 10 Building.
At the meeting, Mr. Santos invited Chula to Macquarie Student Exchange Fair in March, 2023.This will offer Chula the chance to meet Macquarie University students, and promote student exchange programs. Meanwhile, the representatives of Chula also invited Macquarie University to Chula Study Abroad Fair in February, 2023. Ms. Noppamon will share the details of the Fair with Macquarie University as early as December this year.
Both sides provided an update on student exchange programs and scholarship opportunities. Ms. Sukalin gave a summary of new student exchange and postgraduate scholarship programs at Chula. Mr. Santos informed the representatives of Chula about Macquarie students’ areas of interest, and a new website on student exchange programs as well as Australia Award Scholarship.
