Meeting with the Representatives of the University of York
On November 3rd, 2022, Prof. Kaywalee Chatdarong, DVM, Ph.D., Vice President for Strategic Planning, Innovation and Global Engagement, Prof. Emeritus Surichai Wun’Gaeo, Ph.D., Director of Center for Peace and Conflict Studies, Ms. Pattharaporn Suntharasaj, Ph.D., Director of the Division of Global Research and Innovation Promotion, Office of International Affairs and Global Network, and the representatives from the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Political Science, Faculty of Science, and Chula Business School, held a meeting with the representatives of the University of York, United Kingdom – Prof. Matthias Ruth, Ph.D., Pro-Vice Chancellor for Research, Prof. Kathryn Arnold, Ph.D., Dean of York Graduate Research School, Prof. John Hudson, Ph.D., Deputy Dean of York School for Business and Society, Mr. Richard Friend, Ph.D., Senior Lecturer and Research Champion, Department of Environment and Geography, Ms. Jo Rose, Ph.D., Senior Lecturer at the Department of Health Sciences, and Mr. Vaughan McKee, Global Partnerships Officer.
The meeting discussed existing research collaborations between them and exchanged their research areas of interest. Apart from research collaborations, both parties also initiated the possibility to collaborate on online exchange lectures, and Ph.D. student exchange programs. The details of these collaborations will be discussed further in the next meeting at a Faculty level.
