Meeting with the Representatives of the University of Bristol
On Tuesday, 8th November 2022, the representatives of Chulalongkorn University (Chula) welcomed the delegation of the University of Bristol (UOB), United Kingdom. The UOB’s delegates consisted of Ms. Lorna Cuckow, Deputy Director International and Head of International Partnerships and Relations, International Office; Dr. Charl FJ Faul, Professor of Materials Chemistry, School of Chemistry and Faculty International Director, Faculty of Science; Dr. Jahir Islam, Lecturer and School International Director, School of Economics; Dr. Matthew Lariviere, Lecturer, School for Policy Studies; Dr. Quoc Tuan Ho, Senior Lecturer in Finance and Accounting, Bristol Business School; Ms. Natasha Kerven, School International Officer, School of Economics; and Mr. Gabrielle Osborne, International Partnerships Officer, International Office.
In the morning, the UOB’s delegation met with the representatives of the Office of International Affairs and Global Network and the Faculty of Science. The meeting discussed the collaboration in student exchange and the possibility to establish a joint development program. After that, the UOB’s delegation visited the Chulalongkorn University Museum to learn more about Chula history.
On this occasion, Chulalongkorn University hosted a lunch for the guests. After the lunch, the UOB’s delegates had separated meetings with their counterparts, namely, the Chulalongkorn Business School, the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Political Science, and the Faculty of Law.
At the end of the visit, the representatives of the Faculty of Economics at Chula and the School of Economics at UOB jointly presented their double degree program to the interested students.
