The ePOP Contest – 2023 Edition

IRD, a French National Research Institute for Sustainable Development, and RFI, a French international radio, are organizing an international video contest for youth and students. This contest call “ePOP” invites young people from all over the world to use their smartphones to collect the testimonies of those who face the impacts of climate and environmental changes on a daily basis, through a short 3-minute film. 

The main objective of the ePOP contest is to raise awareness of the current effects of climate change in all regions of the world but also to stimulate the creativity and initiative of young people interested in videos.

Alone or in a team it’s possible too! You have until April 20th, 2023 midnight to submit it on the platform.

The best videos will be awared by differents prizes ranging from 160,000 Baht to 36,000 Baht, and the participants will have their productions broadcasted in the media and at international festivals. They may also be invited to participate in local and international public meetings to raise their voice on climate and environmental change.
