An Official Visit to Chulalongkorn University by the U.S. Ambassador to Thailand
On February 10th, 2023, Professor Bundhit Eua-arporn, Ph.D., the President of Chulalongkorn University and Dr. Ram Piyaket, the Director of the Office of International Affairs and Global Network, had a meeting with Ambassador Robert F. Godec, the U.S. Ambassador to Thailand, and the representatives of the U.S. Embassy & Consulate in Thailand, at the Reception Room, 2nd Floor, Chamchuri 4 Building.
Both parties explored ways to promote the student mobility between Chulalongkorn University and the Universities in the U.S. along with the possible collaboration in research, innovation, and startups.
Professor Bundhit also introduced Chula’s Global Chief Innovation Officer (Associate Professor Natcha Thawesaengskulthai, Ph.D.) who is currently based in Washington D.C. to promote the Chula Global Innovation Club. Currently, the Club covers the activities in the USA and Nordic countries (through Thai-Nordic Innovation Unit, Royal Thai Embassy in Stockholm, Sweden).
