Kyoto Global Design Awards are now open for entries (Student Category)
The Kyoto Global Design Awards (KGDA) is a prestigious international design competition established in 2019 to recognize outstanding designers from around the world. As a means of promoting collaboration between design and society, KGDA provides designers with an opportunity to showcase their work, regardless of their country of origin or background. With its headquarters in the Netherlands, KGDA aims to become one of the most esteemed design awards in the Asia-Pacific region.
‘Student’s Category’ in the award program is open for talented students who are still in the school of design to participate with their work/project. This would be a great opportunity for students to gain recognition for their work and showcase their design in the KGDA exhibition.
Participating in KGDA would also provide students with the following benefits:
- Students who have received awards may apply for grants and scholarships.
- Winning the award can help students improve their curriculum vitae.
- Award-winning students have the opportunity to find an internship.
- KGDA’s competition can encourage student motivation.
- Winners receive a prize package, which includes a badge of achievement.
- An opportunity to network with business leaders awaits winners at the Designer’s Night.
