A Meeting with the Representatives of Renmin University of China
On Wednesday, March 15th, 2023, Assoc. Prof. Voraprapa Nakavachara, Ph.D., Assistant Vice President for Global Engagement, and Chulalongkorn University administrators from the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Economics, and the Faculty of Law, held a meeting with the Representatives of Renmin University of China (RUC) – Prof. WANG Yi, Ph.D., Vice President; Prof. LIN Chen, Ph.D., Director of the Office of Research; Prof. XU Qinhua, Ph.D., Deputy Director, National Academy of Development and Strategy at RUC; Ms. LIN Yuan, Deputy Director of the International Office; and Ms. GUO Shuai, Program Coordinator, International Office. The event took place at the Reception Room, 2nd Floor, Chamchuri 4 Building.
Both parties discussed possible collaborations between the two universities. The representatives of Chulalongkorn University have a keen interest in initiating a student exchange and a faculty exchange program to promote teaching and research collaboration with RUC. Moreover, RUC showed its wish to establish collaboration with the Faculty of Political Science. Its Social Science Program has enjoyed a high status in China, consistently ranked as one of the top three.
