A Visit by the University of Victoria, Canada
On Wednesday, March 22nd, 2023, Prof. Bundhit Eua-arporn, Ph.D., Chulalongkorn University President; Assoc. Prof. Pannee Cheewinsiriwat, Ph.D., Assistant Vice President for Research Affairs; Asst. Prof. Sornnate Areesophonpichet, Ph.D., Assistant Vice President for Strategy, Organizational Quality Assurance and World University Rankings and the representatives of the Faculty of Science and the Office of International Office and Global Network, had a meeting with Prof. Kevin Richard Hall, Ph.D., President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Victoria, Canada, at the Reception Room, 2nd Floor, Chamchuri 4 Building.
The meeting explored ways to establish potential collaborations between the two universities, focusing on joint initiatives to advance the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). On this occasion, President Hall extended an invitation to Chula leaders to participate in the activities of the International Training Centre for Authorities and Leaders (known by the French acronym CIFAL), which is a program jointly established by the University of Victoria and the United Nations Institute of Training and Research (UNITAR).
