A Meeting between the Representatives of Illinois State University, USA and Chulalongkorn University
On March 23rd, 2023, the representatives of the Faculty of Arts, the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, and the Office of International Affairs and Global Network, held a meeting with the Representatives of Illinois State University (ISU), USA – Dr. Roopa Rawjee, Executive Director, the Office of International Engagement; Dr. Heather Dillaway, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Professor in Sociology; Dr. Ajay Samant, Dean of the College of Business, Professor in Business, and Dr. Terry Noel, Associate Dean for Academic Programs and Curriculum, College of Business, at the Meeting Room, 18th Floor, Chaloem Rajakumari 60 Building. The meeting was also attended by Prof. Gaywalee Yamskulna, Ph.D., Interim Chair at the Department of Mathematics, College of Arts and Sciences, ISU, via an online platform.
The representatives of the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Arts expressed their intention to establish collaborative programs with ISU, particularly in faculty exchange and student exchange programs. After the meeting, the delegates visited the Chula Museum, which currently presents a ceramic exhibition by Assoc. Prof. Sukumarl Sarakasetrin, a lecturer at the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts and an alumnus of ISU, who has shown her interest to collaborate with the Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts at ISU.
