UM iCamp 2023

The Education and Culture Attaché, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesian in Bangkok, is pleased to inform you that the Universitas Negeri Malang is officially announcing UM iCamp 2023 at Universitas Negeri Malang (UM), Indonesia for international students.

UM iCamp is a week-long (18 – 24 July 2023) cultural immersion program organized by Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) in collaboration with Local Government of Malang District, East Java, Indonesia, which allows International participants all over the world to get hands-on and authentic experience to gain meaningful insight about Indonesian culture, languages, authentic culinary, traditions, community, and various learning activities. 

In this program students will be actively engaged in various exciting activities from learning sessions, socio-cultural activities, and field trips to scenic venues. As the participants will be from different parts of the world, students will also benefit from learning other cultures and broaden their horizons simultaneously. Selected participants will get a waiver for the program fee, meals, accommodation, and transportation during the program. International flight tickets, international travel insurance, and visa (if needed) will be borne by the participants.

To apply, participants must:
– NOT be an Indonesian citizen 
– Be at least 18 years old and no more than 35 years old 
– Enrolled in a Degree/Non-Degree program of a university (undergraduate and graduate) 
– Be able to speak in English 
– Have a health insurance
