OHM Family Meeting Staff Week – Extended Registration Phase until 2 May 2023
The International Office at Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm warmly invites you to the OHM Family Meeting from 18 to 23 June 2023. The deadline of online registration has been extended until 2 May 2023.
This is a very special and exciting year for the university: From “Städtische Polytechnische Schule” in 1823 to “the OHM” in 2023 – OHM will celebrate its bicentennial anniversary, and the university would like to celebrate it with you!
You are invited to join the celebration as the university will present its rich history and the next big step plan for the future. You will learn about current developments at OHM and network with colleagues from all over the world. You also will discover how harmonious the interplay of history and modernity can be in Nürnberg, centre of the Metropolitan Region of Nürnberg in Bavaria.
Provisional programme
Timeframe: 18 – 23 June 2023
Onboarding and four days in Nürnberg, one day excursion.
Language: All activities will be held in English.
The programme will consist of a mixture of presentations, visits and anniversary celebrations.
Topic: The OHM – Challenges and solutions for the future.

OHM will accept a limited number of participants (15 persons, academic and non-academic, max. 2 representatives per institution). Any selection will be based on ongoing institutional agreements and the individual professional profile. After registration, you will receive a confirmation of participation.
Financial information
The following costs will be covered by the International Office of Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Ohm:
– Two overnight stays in Nürnberg (up to € 100,- per night)
– Lunches on 19 June 2023, 20 June 2023, 21 June 2023, 22 June 2023, 23 June 2023
– Dinners on 19 June 2023, 22 June 2023
– Public Transportation in the City of Nürnberg 18 June – 23 June 2023
– Guided City Tour Nürnberg/ Guided Tour Art Bunker 19 June 2023
– Entrance Fee for Guided Tours “Faber Castell” 21 June 2023
– Bus Travel on Friday, 23 June 2023
– Entrance Fees on Friday, 23 June 2023
Any other expenses must be borne individually by the participant or by the participant´s home institution.
Accommodation and travel information
Participants are requested to individually make their own hotel reservations.
