Joint Training Workshop by the Harvard-Yenching Institute and the Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University

The Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University, in cooperation with the Harvard-Yenching Institute (HYI), organized a joint training workshop on “Asia in World Literature” from June 7-13, 2023. The event was conducted by international speakers, including Professor David Damrosch (Harvard), Professor Karen Thornber (Harvard), Professor Annette Lienau (Harvard), Professor Zhang Longxi (City University of Hong Kong), Professor Baidik Bhattacharya (Center for Developing Societies, India), and Professor Adam Knee (LASALLE College of the Arts).

It was attended by 25 junior researchers in world literature and other related fields. Dr Ruohong Li, HYI Associate Director, and Professor Linda Grove, HYI Consultant, also took part in the workshop and, with keen interest, observed the research presentation session by all participants.
