Chulalongkorn University President Delivering a Talk at the 14th ASEAN University Network Rectors’ Meeting on Changes in Global Higher Education
On July 5, 2023, Professor Bundhit Eua-arporn, Ph.D., President of Chulalongkorn University and Associate Professor Voraprapa Nakavachara, Ph.D., Assistant Vice President for Global Engagement, participated in the 14th ASEAN University Network Rectors’ Meeting, hosted by Universiti Malaya. The event was held under the theme of “Changes in Global Higher Education and How Top Universities in ASEAN Respond,” which gave the opportunity for university administrators to discuss how to change in order to meet the expectations of the people in the context of the big picture and the world.
During the panel discussion, President Bundhit Eua-arporn delivered a talk in Session 2: Meeting the expectations of the people – How can AUN universities pilot meeting the expectations of the people through the tools and power of higher education? He shared his thoughts on “Changes in Global Higher Education and How Top Universities in ASEAN Respond”. The panelists in Session 2 also included the Rector of Universitas Gadjah Mada, and the Vice-Chancellors of Universiti Brunei Darussalam, and of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, respectively.
