[Call for Papers] 6th World Congress on Disaster Management (WCDM 2023)
The WCDM is jointly organised by Government of Uttarakhand, Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority (USDMA), Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology (UCOST) and Disaster Management Initiatives and Convergence Society (DMICS). The flagship of this consecutive 6th biennial event will have a convergence of more than 2000 participants from across the globe.
The core theme of the 6th WCDM is ‘STRENGTHENING CLIMATE ACTION & DISASTER RESILIENCE’ with key strategies around Innovation, Collaboration & Communication having special focus on Mountain Ecosystems & Communities. The 4-Day event has been structured with 7 Plenary Sessions, more than 50 Technical Sessions, number of Pre-Conference Events, Special Featured Events, Exhibitions and Concurrent Sessions apart from grand inaugural and valedictory sessions.
There is a lot to take away for all participants by attending the 6th WCDM – 2023, Dehradun. Educational institutions can count on numerous opportunities for learning and sharing new concepts and theories evolving on a global platform. Likewise, Governments, NGOs, INGOs, Policy makers and Practitioners can hobnob with leaders and representatives from various other countries and exchange best practices in technology, innovations, collaboration and communication. The WCDM encourages the participants and recognises their contribution through Cash Awards for Best Papers in two categories – General & Young Researchers based on Content, Creativity and Originality. Selected papers will be published in special volumes by leading publishing houses. Concurrent sessions on diverse topics and special featured events during 6thWCDM will provide a platform for active participation by people from different sections of societies like Parliamentarians, City Mayors, Innovators, Technologists, Researchers, Entrepreneurs, Start-ups, Media persons, Children & Youth to begin with.
