A Meeting between the Representatives of China MOOCs for Foreign Studies and Chulalongkorn University Administrators

On August 3rd, 2023, Chulalongkorn University led by Professor Kaywalee Chatdarong, Ph.D., Vice President for Strategic Planning, Innovation and Global Engagement; Assoc. Prof. Praweenya Suwannatthachote, Ph.D., Senior Advisor and Assoc. Prof. Nuttaporn Lawthong, Ph.D., Senior Advisors of the Learning Innovation Center; Asst. Prof. Theeravadee Thangkabutra, Ph.D., Associate Dean of the Faculty of Education; Dr. Ram Piyaket, Director of the Office of International Affairs and Global Network and Ms. Sukalin Wanakasemsan, Director of the Global Academic Division, Office of International Affairs and Global Network, had a meeting with the representatives of China MOOCs for Foreign Studies – Prof. JIA Wenjian, Ph.D., Vice President of Beijing Foreign Studies University and Executive Vice Chairman of China MOOCs for Foreign Studies; Prof. LI Liwen, Ph.D., Director of the Office of Undergraduate Studies, Beijing Foreign Studies University and Secretary General of China MOOCs for Foreign Studies; Prof. JIAO Fangtai, Ph.D., Vice President of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies; Prof. SUN Jisheng, Ph.D., Vice President of China Foreign Affairs University; Prof. XU Yonglin, Ph.D., Vice President of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics; Prof. SU Yingying, Ph.D., Dean of the School of Asian Studies, Beijing Foreign Studies University; Prof. CHEN Jinshi, Ph.D., Director, Undergraduate Education Division of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies; Prof. LIU Jianxi, Ph.D., Director of the Academic Affairs Office, Tianjin Foreign Studies University; Prof. QU Xin, Ph.D., Director of the Academic Affairs Office, Beijing International Studies University; Prof. SHI Yi, Ph.D., Director of the Academic Affairs Office, China Foreign Affairs University; Prof. LI Maolin, Ph.D., Deputy Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, Beijing Foreign Studies University; Mr. WANG Yuexian, Officer of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, Beijing Foreign Studies University; Mr. SHANG Qikun, CEO of Beijing Waiyan Online Digital Technology Co., Ltd.; Ms. XU Yijie, CCO of Beijing Waiyan Online Digital Technology Co., Ltd.; Ms. WEI Yafei, Director of the Marketing Department, Beijing Waiyan Online Digital Technology Co., Ltd. and Ms. REN Zhonglin, Deputy Director of the Content Resources Department, Beijing Waiyan Online Digital Technology Co., Ltd., in the Meeting Room 205, 2ndfloor, Chamchuri 3 Building.

Both parties shared the information about the development of MOOCs and discussed the possibility to establish academic collaborations between them. After that, the guests visited the CU 100-Year Anniversary Permanent Exhibition at the Chulalongkorn University Museum.
