International Students Orientation for Academic Year 2023

On August 8th, 2023, the Office of International Affairs and Global Network organized the International Students Orientation for Academic Year 2023 in the Poonsub Nopphawong Na Ayutthaya Hall, 3rd floor, Faculty of Education. This event was a success as it was attended by over 300 international students.

The event provided new international students with a warm welcome and invaluable resources to ensure their successful and fulfilling academic journey including 

  • Introducing the CU services, benefits, facilities and the Unibuddy program by Ms. Sukalin Wanakasemsan, Director of the Global Academic Affairs Division and Mr. Yingyilong Hu, Chula Unibuddy Ambassador;
  • Introducing the CU CUDSON – Chulalongkorn University Desired Student’s Outcome Next Generation by Mr. Nopparuj Poonyaratanasoondhorn, Head of Individual Potential Development Unit, Office of Student Affairs;
  • Introducing the CU Student Affairs, Clubs and Activities by the representatives of the CU Student Affairs and Clubs;
  • How to deal with Culture Shock / How to make your stay in Thailand an enjoyable one by Mr. Jonas Anderson, Co-Sponsored by Thailand Foundation;
  • KBANK Service Counter to receive the student documents for opening their bank account;
  • VISA Consulting.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Voraprapa Nakavachara, Assistant Vice President for Global Engagement, expressed her delight to greet all international students. In her opening remarks, she emphasized, “Your presence enriches our campus and we are privileged to be part of your academic journey. Remember, you are not alone, we are here to support you every step along the way. May your time here be filled with growth, enlightenment and unforgettable memories.”
