Chula Administrators Taking Part in the Senior International Leaders’ Meeting 2023 at the University of Sydney
From September 24th-25th, 2023, Associate Professor Voraprapa Nakavachara, Ph.D., Assistant Vice President for Global Engagement, and Ms. Michiko Yoshida, Director of the Global Networking and Engagement Division of the OIA, participated in the Senior International Leaders’ Meeting 2023 at the University of Sydney.
The two-day event with an educational and fun coastal walk was led by Professor Emma Johnston, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research of the host university. It was followed by a warm reception where colleagues from different parts of the world got to catch up on the latest happenings of their universities.
The meeting on September 25th, was welcomed remarks by Vice-Chancellor and President Mark Scott of the University of Sydney, organized under the theme “One Pacific: Breaking down education and research silos to address Asia-Pacific challenges”, offered the opportunity for the participants to share their experience.
At the Meeting, Assistant Vice President Voraprapa served as the moderator for the “Implementing the Vision” session. In this session, three speakers discussed the three major APRU initiatives that have implemented the APRU vision. Dr. Voraprapa also moderated the “Interactive Forum and Small Group Discussion” session.
