[Call for Applications] Scholarship for Lecturers from South and Southeast Asia in academic year 2024
The Office of International Affairs at Taipei National University of the Arts, is inviting applications for the「MOE-TNUA Elite Scholarship Program: Scholarship for Lecturers from South and Southeast Asia」. This scholarship is open to current university lecturers or professors in South and Southeast Asia who are interested in pursuing Doctoral/Master’s degree programs in Taiwan for the first semester of the 2024 academic year. The application period is from October 5 to November 11, 2023.
ELIGIBILITY
- Doctoral/Master degree-seeking applicants who are currently university lecturers or professors in South and Southeast Asia and expected to admit Doctoral/Master degree programs for the first semester of the 2024 academic year.
- Applicants for an Elite Scholarship must apply directly to Taipei National University of the Arts for foreign student admission of Fall Semester, 2024. Foreign student admission period starts from February 1 to March 31, 2024.
- Please note that admission applications and scholarship applications are separate. An applicant who receives this Elite Scholarship award is NOT guaranteed a TNUA entrance admission, and vice versa.
STUDY YEAR
Commencing from 2024 Fall Semester
DRUATION OF SCHOLARSHIP
- 3 Years (In PH.D. program/ Review annually)
- 2 Years (In Master programs/ Review annually)
AMOUNT OF SCHOLARSHIP
- NTD 25,000 per month
- The scholarship doesn’t include full tuition waiver. Students will need to pay tuition fee and credit fee.
HOW TO APPLY

- Language Certificate: Applicants of English-taught program: English ability test should achieve CEFR B1 or above; Applicants of non-English-taught program: Chinese ability test (TOCFL) should achieve A2 or above.
