A Visit to the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Shanghai

Chulalongkorn University participated in the China Education Expo 2023 in Shanghai, China, from October 21st–22nd, 2023. Before the Expo, the representatives of Chula paid a visit to Miss Prinat Apirat, the Consul-General, at the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Shanghai, China.

The visit offered the opportunity to both parties to discuss ways to increase the enrollment of Chinese students at Chulalongkorn University. The Consul-General proposed that Chulalongkorn University boost its visibility among Chinese students through online platforms, for instance, TikTok and WeChat. She also expressed her willingness to support Chula to expand its academic and research collaborations with universities in Shanghai and China.
