Chulalongkorn University Unibuddy Ambassador Orientation 2024

The Office of International Affairs and Global Network (OIA) was delighted to host the first on-site Chulalongkorn University Unibuddy Ambassador Orientation on Friday, January 26th, 2024, from 13:00 to 15:00 hrs. The event took place in Room 701, Chaloem Rajakumari 60 Building, and approximately 50 participants, including new, current, and future Unibuddy Student and Staff Ambassadors, attended the orientation.

Throughout the orientation, invited speakers shared their insights and experiences about the Chulalongkorn University Unibuddy Ambassador Program. Dr. Ram Piyaket, Director of the OIA, warmly delivered the opening speech. Ms. Sukalin Wanakasemsan, Director of the Global Academic Affairs Division (GAA), provided general information about Chulalongkorn University. Additionally, Mr. Yingyilong Hu, a Ph.D. student in Education from the People’s Republic of China, Chairman of the Chulalongkorn University Unibuddy Ambassadors, and Ms. Su Myat, currently a Ph.D. student in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Republic of the Union of Myanmar, presented an overview of the program and showcased a training video for the participants. The event concluded with an appreciation ceremony for the yearly rewards and a Q&A session.

The Program is open to full-time undergraduates and graduates from Chulalongkorn University international programs, as well as faculty members participating in the peer-to-peer platform launched by Chula OIA. This program serves as a bridge between current Chula students and program coordinators, enabling them to represent their Faculties and engage with researchers, visiting scholars, prospects and individuals interested in Chulalongkorn University in general.
