Chulalongkorn University Participating in Beijing Forum 2024
On 2nd November 2024, President Wilert Puriwat and Dr. Thiraput Pitichat, Assistant to the President Organization Development, participated in the 21st Beijing Forum 2024 at the Da Xue Tang Conference Center, The Lakeview on the Peking University campus.
The 2024 Forum was held under the theme “Harmony of Civilizations and Prosperity for AI – The Era of Innovation and Advancement of Mankind”, with an aim to foster collaboration in humanities and education as well as to promote progress through innovation and harmony among civilizations. During the 12th panel session, the President of Chulalongkorn University presented a keynote speech on “Digital Intelligence Education: Building Inclusive, Mastery-Based Universities.”
The Beijing Forum is an esteemed annual academic conference, founded in 2004, focusing on the humanities, social sciences, and global development. It serves as a platform for scholars, policymakers, and educators to engage in discussions on pressing global issues and promote cultural exchanges. The Forum includes keynote speeches and panel discussions that address critical themes, such as innovation and the harmony of civilizations.
