NTU Centennial Fellowship Program

National Taiwan University Launches Centennial International Graduate Scholarship to Attract Global Talent
National Taiwan University is preparing to celebrate its magnificent centennial anniversary in 2028. To honor this historic milestone, NTU has introduced the “Centennial Fellowship Program” aimed at attracting outstanding international graduate students. This initiative seeks to nurture future leaders and innovative talents in academia.
The fellowship not only supports distinguished graduate students from abroad but also serves as a strategy for NTU to strengthen partnerships with global academic institutions. Exceptional candidates from partner universities will be selected based on their academic potential and research achievements. Generous financial support is available: Master’s students may receive up to TWD 600,000, while PhD students can receive up to TWD 2,000,000. This initiative encourages elite students worldwide to choose NTU as their base for study and research.
Notable partner institutions, including Chulalongkorn University, Mahidol University , the University of Indonesia, and Institut Teknologi Bandung, are already part of the program. The first batch of international students benefiting from this fellowship is expected to begin their studies in 2025. To enhance academic cooperation, NTU plans to invite additional top international universities to join before the centennial celebration, collectively creating new opportunities for academic exchange and success.
