Chulalongkorn University Delegation Visiting Singapore Management University

On February 7th, 2025, President Wilert Puriwat and the representatives of the Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Political Science, Faculty of Psychology, Faculty of Nursing, College of Populations Studies, and the Office of International Affairs and Global Network, visited Singapore Management University (SMU) to discuss potential collaboration between the two institutions.
The visit included a Chulalongkorn and SMU Executives’ Meeting, where the SMU President, Professor Lily Kong, and the Executive Development team presented SMU’s new vision, mission, and SMU Academy to their Chula guests. The discussions focused on executive development and lifelong learning collaboration between the two universities. SMU representatives in attendance included the members of SMU Executive Development, the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, SMU Academy, and the International Office.
As part of the visit, the Chulalongkorn delegation took an SMU campus tour, exploring SMU-X and the Connexion Building. They were also introduced to the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which supports start-ups and fosters an entrepreneurial ecosystem within SMU.
This visit created an opportunity for both institutions to explore cooperation in executive education and lifelong learning.
