Chula and Cornell Exploring Collaborations in Research and Academic Exchange
On March 28th, 2025, President Wilert Puriwat and Chula administrators welcomed the representatives of Cornell University, led by Prof. Wendy Wolford, Vice Provost for International Affairs to Chulalongkorn University. The meeting, held in the Reception Room, 2nd floor, Chamchuri 4 Building, gave the opportunity for President Wilert and Vice Provost Wolford to discuss the possibility of expanding collaborations in research and academic exchange between the two institutions.

Before the meeting between President Wilert and Vice Provost Wolford, a group discussion was held between the representatives of Cornell and Chula. The Deans and faculty members of the Faculty of Psychology, Faculty of Political Science, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Science, and the Chulalongkorn Business School presented their research strengths and international programs to the guests. The participants exchanged information, shared expertise, and discussed potential research collaborations with their counterparts. Student mobility was also addressed, with a focus on an increase in the number of exchange students of both universities.
President Wilert and Vice Provost Wolford, along with the Deans and representatives of Chula and Cornell, continued the discussions during their business luncheon. The Cornell alumni at Chulalongkorn University and the members of the Cornell Club of Thailand were also at the luncheon.
