[Call for Applications] Japanese Government Scholarship at Niigata University, October 2026
The Graduate School of Science and Technology, Niigata University, offers the Global Education Program for Fostering Advanced SciTech Specialist having Practical Ability in Social Collaboration for those who wish to be matriculated either at the Advanced Materials Science and Technology, Electrical and Information Engineering, or the Environmental Science and Technology major.
This program has been granted as one of the International Priority Graduate Programs (PGP), Advanced Graduate Courses for International Students, by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), and some of the successful candidates will be able to receive the scholarship from the MEXT.
Therefore, the Graduate School of Science and Technology, Niigata University, now accepts applications for October 2026 admission from those interested in pursuing a doctoral degree in this program as follows.

For the pre-screening round, applicants must submit documents listed in yellow to the coordinator, with their name included in each file name. All applicants need to be nominated through the OIA only.
