[Call for Application] ASEAN-China Young Leaders Scholarship (ACYLS) 2026/2027

The ASEAN-China Young Leaders Scholarship (ACYLS) 2026/2027 is now open for applications! 📑 🌏 This scholarship, funded by the Chinese government, aims to strengthen the ASEAN-China relationship through educational exchange and shared future. 🤝✨

This year, the scholarship offers 12 places for studying in China, 5 for doctoral studies, 5 for master’s students, and 2 for researchers in a short-term period. 🎓

💰 Financial Support

The scholarship will cover the following expenses:

  • Monthly stipend
  • Tuition waiver and school fees
  • Round-trip airfare
  • Accommodation
  • Medical insurance
  • Settlement fee

These expenses will be available throughout your study or research period in China. 🇨🇳 Additionally, you must submit your annual report to ensure the scholarship payment in the following year. 📝

✅ Requirements

  • Be a citizen of one of ASEAN countries
  • Be healthy and fit, mentally and physically well
  • Possess proficient English language skills, with an IELTS score of at least 6.0 or a TOEFL score of at least 80
  • Hold an undergraduate or graduate degree (and not older than 45 years old if applying for a master’s or doctoral degree)
  • Have at least one year of working experience, preferably in ASEAN-China affairs or other related fields
  • Not be a current recipient of any scholarship supported by the Chinese government
  • Meet other admission requirements for Chinese universities applied by applicants
