Summer Program: (UGM VIRTUAL SHORT PROGRAM) 12th DREaM International Students Summer Program 2020
Summer Program: (UGM VIRTUAL SHORT PROGRAM) 12th DREaM International Students Summer Program 2020
Overview:
Starting from Universitas Gadjah Mada’s commitment to participate in introducing cultural diversity and education in Indonesia, UGM under the coordination of the Office of International Affairs has made the program particularly for international students who wants to know more about Indonesia, both from a cultural and educational aspect. This fun program, the DREaM (an abbreviation of Disaster Research, Community Empowerment, and Microeconomics) became an annual event much anticipated by partner universities.
In a time full of challenges and uncertainties, resilience has become a popular term and is relevant to various spheres, be it the resilience of individuals, organizations, countries, or globally. Some countries have been successfully dealing with the pandemic, meanwhile, some other countries are struggling in optimizing various policies with their remaining resources. In this situation, learning from each other is a wise step to take. Hence, the Virtual DREaM 2020 will present speakers who represent the academic world, researchers, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and social organizations.
The theme of Virtual DREaM 2020 is, therefore, ‘Resilience amidst Global Pandemic’
