A Meeting with the Representatives of the National University of Singapore
On April 22, 2022, Chulalongkorn University (Chula), represented by Prof. Dr. Kaywalee Chatdarong, Vice President for Strategic Planning, Innovation and Global Engagement; Dr. Santhaya Kittikowit, Assistant to the President for Innovation Affairs; Ms. Kanyasorn Tansubhapol, Assistant to the President for Special Affairs; Dr. Ronnakorn Vaiyavuth, Innovation Director, CU Innovation Hub; Dr. Ram Piyaket, Director of the Office of International Affairs and Global Network; Ms. Supattra Seebunruang, Assistant Director, Marketing and Corporate Communication Department and Ms. Arporn Khamkajorn, Manager of Sales and Customer Relation Section, had a meeting with the representatives from the National University of Singapore (NUS), led by Prof. Dr. Freddy Boey, Deputy President for Innovation & Enterprise; Mr. Hui Kwok Leong, Acting Director for Ecosystem Development, NUS Enterprise; Deputy Director of NUS Suzhou Research Institute; & Senior Advisor of NUS Chongqing Research Institute, and Mr. Gang Chern Sun, Senior Associate Director for Ecosystem Development (Incubation), NUS Enterprise.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Ronnakorn Vaiyavuth gave a summary of the accomplishments of the collaboration between Chula and NUS since the Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in Innovation and Entrepreneurship was signed in 2018. Furthermore, the meeting discussed the possibility of strengthening partnerships in Talent Building, Large-scale Research and Resources Sharing, and establishing NUSâs Block 71s near the Chula campus, in the center of Bangkok.
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Freddy Boey took this opportunity to have a tour of the Chula Innovation Ecosystem, including Block 28 (TUS Park, Chulalongkorn University Technology Center, and The Food School), and Chamchuri Square.
