A Meeting and the MoU Signing Ceremony between the Representatives of the John von Neumann University and Chulalongkorn University
On Thursday, 19th May 2022, Prof. Kaywalee Chatdarong, DVM., Ph.D., DTBT, Vice President for Strategic Planning, Innovation and Global Engagement; Ms. Kanyasorn Tansubhapol, Assistant to the President for Special Affairs and Ms. Sukalin Wanakasemsan, Director, Division of Global Academic Affairs, Office of International Affairs and Global Network, welcomed Dr. Norbert Csizmadia, President of the Board of Directors at Pallas Athene Innovation and Geopolitical Foundation and President of the Foundation for the John von Neumann University to the Chula campus. Accompanying Dr. Csizmadia to Chula were two guests from the Embassy of Hungary in Bangkok, H.E. Dr. Sándor Sipos, Hungarian Ambassador to Thailand and Ms. Anna Bálint, Deputy Head of Mission. All the guests were taken on a tour to BLOCK28, where Prof. Kaywalee and the Chula Property Management team introduced to them the Chula Innovation Ecosystem (TusPark, Chulalongkorn University Technology Center (UTC), and The Food School).
After the tour, they all moved to Sindhorne Kempinski Hotel Bangkok for the MoU signing Ceremony. Before the ceremony commenced, all participants had the opportunity to discuss potential academic and research collaboration i.e., geopolitics, sustainability, and hydrogen economy, between Chula and NJE. The discussion was concluded by the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions.
