Invitation to the 124th Philippine Independence Day Celebration at the Asian Institute of Technology
The AIT Filipino Students’ Association (AFSA), composed of Filipino students currently studying at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Pathum Thani, Thailand. The Filipino community in AIT has been organizing activities to promote camaraderie among Filipino students and staff, and create awareness of the Filipino culture within the institute and in Thailand.
Despite being miles away, the Philippine Independence Day reminds all overseas Filipinos that our love for our country is never bounded by any territory. Hence, we would like to gather all Filipinos around Bangkok to celebrate the 124th anniversary of the Philippine Independence to be held this Sunday, June 12, 2022, 3PM at the AIT Pond, Asian Institute of Technology. The event will feature activities such as cultural performances, messages from key officials such as our very own Philippine Ambassador to Thailand, Ms. Millicent Cruz Paredes, and Philippine games. Attendees may also come as early as 12PM for the Food Fair. Kindly take note that attendees are required to present a negative ATK result or a proof of vaccination.Â
