The workshop, “How to use the international funding opportunity database, SPIN”
On Thursday, June 23rd 2022, the Division of Global Research and Innovation Promotion in the Office of International Affairs and Global Network organized the workshop entitled “How to use the international funding opportunity database, SPIN” in Meeting Room 3 on the 3rd floor of the Office of Academic Resources (Central Library).
The objectives of this workshop are to provide information about the international funding database, Sponsored Programs Information Network (SPIN), and to demonstrate how to use the SPIN database to Chula faculty, researchers, staff and students. It will help them search for current and upcoming funding program announcements in all academic disciplines from funding agencies around the world.
The workshop commenced with a welcoming speech by Prof. Kaywalee Chatdarong, DVM, PhD, DTBT, Vice President for Strategic Planning, Innovation and Global Engagement.
After that, Dr. Pattharaporn Suntharasaj, Director of the Chula Research and Innovation Promotion, introduced SPIN to participants, and Dr. Keerati Siriyan, the specialist of the GRIP, demonstrated how to use the SPIN database and presented its features to the audience.
This workshop was concluded with a Q&A session which allowed the participants to ask questions about the SPIN database and other services provided by the GRIP.
