[Call for Applications] 2022 Human Asia Student Paper Competition

It is with great pleasure that we, Human Asia, invite you to the international student paper competition on the theme of “Climate Crisis and Human Rights”. Our organization, a Seoul-based NGO associated with the Korea University International Human Right Center, aims to spread the light of human rights across Asia and the world, strengthening solidarity on human rights through diverse educational and advocacy programs.

Eligibility: Youth between the ages of 13-18 of Asian nationality interested in human rights

Outline: 

  • Registration and Essay Submission: April 20th ~ August 17th, 18:00 (KST)
  • Announcement of Winners: September 16th, 18:00 (KST) (Human Asia’s homepage and SNS)
  • Awards Ceremony: September 23rd (via Zoom)

How to apply:

Awards:

  • 1st Prize: Award certificate & 1,000,000 KRW
  • 2nd Prize: Award certificate & 500,000 KRW
  • 3rd Prize: Award certificate & 100,000 KRW

Certificates of participation will be issued for every participant

Language: English

Format:

  • 2,000-3,000 words in length (excluding title and references)
  • MS Word, Times New Roman, 12-point font, 1.5-line spacing, normal margins
  • References and bibliography must be included
