A Meeting with the Representatives of the Universities of the Baltic States and Iceland, and the Office of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Brussels (OHESI)
On Monday 29th, 2022, Chulalongkorn University, represented by Prof. Dr. Kaywalee Chatdarong, Vice President for Strategic Planning, Innovation and Global Engagement, Asst. Prof. Dr. Voraprapa Nakavachara, Assistant Vice President for Global Engagement, Ms. Kanyasorn Tansubhapol, Assistant Vice President for Secretary and Special Affairs, together with the administrators of the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Law and the Office of International Affairs and Global Network, welcomed the delegates of the Universities of Baltic States and Iceland, led by Prof. Dr. Edita Sužiedeliene, Vice Rector and Pro Rector for Research of Vilnius University, Prof. Dr. Igors Tipans, Deputy Rector ofRiga Technical University, Dr. Archil Chochia, Senior Researcher of the Department of Lawin the School of Business and Governance, Tallinn University of Technology, Mr. Halldór Jónsson, Director of the Division of Science and Innovation, University of Iceland, along with the delegates from the Office of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Brussels (OHESI), namely Dr. Sethapan Krajangwongs, Minister Counsellor, Office of Washington D.C. and Mr. Jaturong Amornchaisup, Project Consultant to Chulalongkorn University.
During the meeting, the guests and the hosts exchanged the information about their universities and discussed the possibility of establishing academic and research collaboration between their faculty members and students. Some of the research topics are in the fields of Science, Engineering and Social Sciences.
On this occasion, Chulalongkorn University hosted a luncheon at Jim Thompson Restaurant and organized a campus tour as well as a visit to the University Technology Center for all delegates.
