[Call for Abstracts] World Congress on Undergraduate Research 2023
The University of Warwick will be jointly hosting the World Congress on Undergraduate Research (WorldCUR) & the British Conference of Undergraduate Research (BCUR) in April 2023.
WorldCUR 4th – 6th of April 2023
BCUR 5th & 6th of April 2023
The University of Warwick, Coventry, UK
Undergraduate Research holds a fundamental role in the Higher Education sector and both WorldCUR & BCUR are prominent and prestigious events to showcase this work.
They are delighted to confirm that WorldCUR-BCUR2023 will be held in person at the University of Warwick campus to provide all the multisensory and social benefits of a full conference experience.
Therefore, they will be inviting undergraduate students from across the world to come to the UK and present their research. (Conference eligibility: delegates are a current UG student, or recent graduate i.e., graduated within 6mths of application to WorldCUR-BCUR 2023)
The University of Warwick, the World Congress on Undergraduate Research are all committed to widening participation. They are seeking participation from the widest range of students across the world and across disciplines. They will be celebrating diversity in all forms: diversity of voice, diversity of ideas, and diversity of form of presentation. Therefore, they will be actively seeking to invite delegates from under-represented countries to ensure the conference has a truly global voice.
Therefore, they are hoping to attract abstract application from students studying in your host country.
It is their expectation that invited delegates will enter the UK under a Visitor Visa (or an alternative Visa appropriate for their individual circumstances). WorldCUR-BCUR 2023 is a platform for students to showcase their voluntary independent study and is not part of any course of study or qualification at The University of Warwick, or any other university globally. The University of Warwick will not be checking individual applicant’s student status, they are requesting students to confirm a statement of eligibility within their application to WorldCUR-BCUR 2023 and taking this upon trust.
Although they anticipate most international delegates will present at WorldCUR, BCUR is also open to international students, it is student choice to apply to either or both platforms, therefore they will also be inviting a proportion of delegates to present at BCUR.
