[Invitation] The 25th Edition of the POWERTRENDS International Business Forum

This will be on February 8-9, 2023 at the New World Hotel, Makati City.

The POWERTRENDS series is the only international energy event organized in collaboration with our Department of Energy .

First held in 1995 in collaboration with the then newly organized Department of Energy and the National Power Corporation, POWERTRENDS was held during the height of the then prevailing worst energy crisis  experienced in the country.

This event is being held in keeping with the objective of the 25-year POWERTRENDS series to serve as an enabling partner of the Department of Energy in articulating policy developments, providing new and innovative technologies for energy investments and stimulating business partnerships between local and international companies that have been joining  our regular events.

The agenda for the 2023 International Business Forum covers end-to-end  power solutions, taking into account the prevailing global energy market situation, the global economic condition, and geo-political developments amidst very rapidly developing technological innovations disrupting the way of making and doing business.

Expect deep searching discussions on recasting the investment paradigm for gas, calibrating shifts in sources of fuel, look into the future of transport, reinvent the nuclear option, and examine how Industry 4.0 technological breakthroughs will be the key to the energy transition.

New focus will be introduced on Oil and Gas,  Electrical components, Utilization of power and electricity – efficiency and management of demand, Energy storage,  Telecommunications, Data centers.
