A Visit to Chulalongkorn University by the Vice President of the Republic of Peru
On Wednesday, November 16th, 2022, H.E. Dina Boluarte Zegarra, Vice President of the Republic of Peru, visited Chulalongkorn University, in parallel to her attending the APEC 2022 meetings in Thailand. She was warmly welcomed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Pomthong Malakul Na Ayudhya, Vice President, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suradech Chotiudompant, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Chula administrators and the administrators of the Faculty of Arts.
During this visit, the Vice President of the Republic of Peru presented the books written by the most recognized Peruvian native descents to the Center for Latin American Studies at the Faculty of Arts. These literary works included Nueva Corónica y Buen Gobierno by Felipe Guamán Poma de Ayala and the Complete Works of Inca Garcilaso de la Vega. This visit and presentation of books were meant to commemorate the 57th Anniversary of Thailand-Peru diplomatic relations.
