An Official Visit to Chulalongkorn University by the Ambassador of India to Thailand

On February 16^th, 2023, Professor Bundhit Eua-arporn, Ph.D., President of Chulalongkorn University; Assistant Professor Surat Horachaikul, Director of the Indian Studies Center of Chulalongkorn University; and Dr. Ram Piyaket, Director of the Office of International Affairs and Global Network, received H.E. Mr. Nagesh Singh, the Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Thailand, and Mrs. Shivali Singh, Attaché (SEC), at the Reception Room, 2nd Floor, Chamchuri 4 Building.

Both parties explored the ways to strengthen collaborations between Chulalongkorn University and the Universities in India, especially, the collaborations in research, innovation and startups. The Ambassador encouraged Chula startups to collaborate with the startups in India. On this occasion, the hosts and the guests also discussed the possibility of faculty mobility in the form of an exchange visiting professor program.
