2023 Southeast Asia-South Asia-Taiwan (SEASAT) Youth Camp
Taiwan-Asia Exchange Foundation (TAEF), the first Taiwanese policy-oriented think tank focusing on Southeast Asian and South Asian affairs would like to share you an amazing opportunity to visit Taiwan and meet other young leaders.
The Southeast Asia-South Asia-Taiwan (SEASAT) Youth Camp is an annual event by TAEF to promote cross-cultural connection and collaboration among Asian youth. This year’s SEASAT Youth Camp will run from July 26th to July 28th, 2023, and is open to 40 emerging leaders, aged 18 to 24, of their Southeast Asian, South Asian, and Taiwanese neighbors. The camp is organized with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Japan and American Institute in Taiwan.
In this 3-day in-person camp, participants will discuss issues among youth in the region and participate in site visits, seminars, and workshops. Under the theme of “Bridging Boundaries: Harnessing Collaboration, Inclusion, and Innovation for Next Leadership,” activities will delve into critical topics like international relations, culture, gender and human rights, public participation, and the future of work. The activities are all designed to help participants grow as leaders who “think and do” for an inclusive and resilient future.
