Training on ‘How to Work Effectively and Productively within a Cross-Cultural Context’ for Chula’s International Staff
On August 16th, 2023, the Office of International Affairs and Global Network organized a training session for the members of the Professional Network of International Affairs and Global Network at Chulalongkorn University. The training, entitled, ‘How to Work Effectively and Productively within a Cross-Cultural Context’, took place in Room 202, 2nd floor, Chamchuri 4 Building.
The guest speaker of the event was Mr. Tayud Mongkolrat, Senior Project Officer at the Thailand Foundation. More than 80 staff members attended the training, which provided them with knowledge and experience about how to work effectively and productively within a cross-cultural context, aiming to help them work efficiently with international professors, researchers, staff and students to create internationally friendly environment.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Voraprapa Nakavachara, Assistant Vice President for Global Engagement, expressed her delight in being honored by the guest lecturer and to greet all members of the Professional Network of International Affairs and Global Network. In her opening remarks, she emphasized, “This training will facilitate their contact with international professors, researchers, staff and students, as well as their collaboration with partner universities, government agencies and private organizations both domestically and internationally.”
