An Official Visit to Chulalongkorn University by the South African Ambassador to Thailand

On August 9^th, 2023, H.E. Mr. Darkey Ephraim Africa, Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa to Thailand and Mrs. Thobeka Dlamini, the Counsellor of the Embassy, paid an official visit to President Bundhit Eua-arporn, Ph.D. The event, which took place at the Reception Room, 2nd Floor, Chamchuri 4 Building, was joined by Dr. Ram Piyaket, Director of the Office of International Affairs and Global Network.

During the visit, both parties explored ways to strengthen academic collaborations between Chulalongkorn University and the universities in South Africa. The Ambassador also expressed profound gratitude to Chula for conferring an honorary doctorate degree in Liberal Arts upon the Former President of the Republic of South Africa, H.E. Dr. Nelson R. Mandela, on July 17^th, 1997.
