[Call for Papers] Big Data for Disaster Response and Management in Asia and the Pacific Conference

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the International Research Institute of Disaster Science (IRIDeS) in partnership with the APRU Multi-Hazards Program will organize the conference in Sendai, Japan.

Dates: February 15–17, 2024
Location: Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan

Call For Abstracts:
The conference welcomes research and practical applications on the theme “Big Data for Disaster Response and Management in Asia and the Pacific”. The motivation is to gather case studies and applications of different big data and new methodologies in disaster assessments, with a focus on economic and social impacts, in Asia and the Pacific. Please refer to the submission guidelines for further information. Submit your 500-wordabstracts here by September 20, 2023.
