Call for Applications: 2024 Kyoto University Amgen Scholars Program
Kyoto University is pleased to announce the “2024 Kyoto University Amgen Scholars Program,” a summer undergraduate research program in life science and biotechnology sponsored by the Amgen Foundation. It is an eight-week program from June 7 to August 2, 2024.
The application is now open and will be closed at 3 p.m. on February 1, 2024, Japan Standard Time [UTC +9:00 hrs].
It would be appreciated if you could introduce our program to your undergraduate students and faculty members by posting it on your website, SNS, via email, etc.

A brief description of the Kyoto University Amgen Scholars Program is:
- 10 slots will be offered to undergraduate students from colleges and universities throughout Asia to undertake laboratory experience.
- Financial support will be provided, such as a round-trip ticket, accommodation, and a scholarship.
- Students will gain research knowledge, have the opportunity to network with other students and professionals, and gain invaluable insight into life as a graduate student.
- In addition to research experience, students also participate in various workshops, educational and cultural-based activities, and a two-day Asia Symposium.
